Green Menu: Donated 100 plant-based meals to Foothill Unity Center…

With the pandemic, extreme heat, and wildfires all happening simultaneously, these could be considered trying times for anyone. But, at greatest risk are those who are unhoused right now, especially at the foothills closest to the fires. In response to what is happening in our own backyard, Green Menu’s volunteers have lovingly prepared and donated 100 plant-based meals and bottled beverages for our friends at the Foothill Unity Center in Monrovia who provide food, temporary shelter, transportation, and a variety of health services for low-income and homeless people in the San Gabriel Valley.

As a non-profit organization, Green Menu continues working to ensure that people have access to healthy plant-based foods no matter their economic or living situation.

We continue to pray for the well-being of all who are adversely affected during these difficult times and for those putting their own health and security at risk to provide safety to our community.

Be healthy and be well!
