Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone @ Central Library


The Los Angeles Central Library invited one of the Green Menu volunteer head chiefs, Joanna Chen to host the vegetarian cooking demonstration at their facility.

The event was held on weekday around noon and there were roughly 50 participants, fully occupied the lecture hall.

Joanna Chen has years of experience as both a chef and vegetarian. As owner of the Sunflower House Restaurant in Princeton, New Jersey she has developed the philosophy that it is not necessary to sacrifice taste and flavor in order to enjoy healthy cuisine. Joanna’s passion for cooking and helping others makes this class a great opportunity for newbies as well as “seasoned” cooks looking to learn new, simple and easy to follow recipes.
